Awesome View Lodge!

We are building a 100 m² house on a 1600 m² plot of land - 800 m away from and 80 m above the sea. The lodge will be located in the valley of Sveta Marina, in the middle of nature with an awesome view over the little harbour of Sveta Marina and the Kvarner Bay.

AWAKE to the sound of birds singing - take life light like the butterflies passing by and see dolphins laughing in the sea.
DIVE from the 6th-best-rated dive centre in the world, into the house riff (down to 40 m) or explore the beautiful wreck of the Lina with the dive boat.
RELAX between olive trees and enjoy the solitude (there is only one neighbour, 50 m away).

About us

My name is Andreas Bäuerle - I started this project in 2017 to realize a lifetime dream, after 20 years of running our family company that started back in 1851.

My father, like his father, had to go early and I had to dive into a life I had not really planed. Our company mainly builds complete bathrooms, which gave me the idea of building a house with solar powered heating and a beautiful view to use it the whole year through, because Istria also has its charm in the winter time, with the mediterranian climate and everything way less busy than in high season.

Fate brought me to Sveta Marina - after two cancelled flights to Sharm el Sheik, I decided to go to Marina with the diving school of a friend.

It didn't take long for me to fall in love with this wonderful place:
the beautiful nature, the relative proximity to Germany and everyone being so welcoming and friendly. Three years and ten visits later I am sure this is the place for me where I can be myself.
